Californian metalcore heroes try their luck in AB Main Hall
The album arsenal of zealous Californian metalcore heroes Of Mice & Men was quite qualitatively expanded early this year, with the release of third issue ‘Restoring Force’. The reviews from prominent metal critics like Loudwire, Metalhammer and Kerrang were full of praise and the tour that followed, and stopped by Brussels on 30 April ’14, was a well-aimed bull's-eye.
The erudite group, they got their band name from the tragic epos of the same name by Nobel prize winner John Steinbeck, later dropped by Graspop and were even intending to do the same at Pukkelpop when “unforeseen health issues” for frontman Austin Carlile spoiled that plan.
