Niveau4 plays an exclusive try-out show at AB
Since 2016, Niveau4 has been the place where the Belgian hip-hop scene comes together and proves itself. From emerging artists to acts already making a name internationally, Niveau4 brings together the most relevant players of the moment in one collective show.
Where last year the energy was mainly in the dancers and movement, this year the music takes center stage. The full band formula is back, with a pianist, drummer, bassist, and guitarist supporting the artists live. The entire set becomes more intense, layered, and more focused on the musical story. Scenography also plays a significant role, setting the atmosphere just right. This year, everything revolves around the essence of live music: pure performance.
Niveau4 remains a hip-hop platform at its core but looks further than ever. The influence of the scene doesn't stop at rap: this year, we bring, in addition to hip-hop, R&B, and afro, influences from pop and Latin. Different styles, different sounds, but together, one strong whole.
K1D
K1D remains a master of effortlessly switching between laidback and high-energy. This year he did not stand still: a collab project with Yung Mavu dropped out of nowhere and proved how strong the two sound together. Last year Mavu was still on Level 4, this year it is K1D who takes over the Green Stage with his signature flow and sharp delivery.
Camille Yembe
She has already written and sung so much for others - on features or behind the scenes - that you would almost forget that Plastique is only her first official solo single. But if you have put on a French-language playlist in the last few months, chances are you have already heard her voice pass by. Her style is a fresh mix of pop and R&B, and live, her presence really comes into its own.
K.ZIA
Berlin has put our Brussels native on the map, but K.ZIA has long since transcended national borders. Her latest project Twin Flame proved yet again how versatile she is-R&B, afro, amapiano, she plays with them as if she has never done anything else. And those who have already seen her live know that she effortlessly draws her audience in with her enchanting voice and stage presence.
Gotti Maras
Gotti Maras first started making noise with his BX Drill freestyle series, showing how Brussels puts its own twist on drill. Since then, he has firmly established himself in the scene, with a recognisable style that perfectly translates the capital's street energy. His tracks are being picked up more and more and live he brings the intensity you expect from him. Level 4 will be his moment to prove that even more.
Bryan MG
Everyone wants a Bryan MG feature. Whether it's Dopebwoy, Kempi or a new generation of artists, his sound and melodies are sought after in Belgium and the Netherlands. Even Hulk from JMF - who was still on Level 4 last year - caught up with him on Sensibility. Everything Bryan MG does makes him a fixture on the afro and R&B scene . Whether in the clubs, on TikTok or in streaming charts, he dominates, but live he takes everything to an even higher level.
Drea Dury
Drea Dury's Colombian roots are audible in everything she does. She moved to Brussels for her studies and continued making music here, but her sound still exudes the influences of her native country. Afro, Latin trap and R&B blend effortlessly with her, always with a South American flair. Her shows are as energetic as they are intense-this will be a performance where you won't stay in your seat for a second.
