Howling country-soul, son of a bitch !

This American is a full-voiced revelation. Once rather indie-country now more in the footsteps of country-soul, The Band and Van Morrison.

With a new CD just completed, out here on Caroline and they loudly announced:

'Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will release an album later this summer that will be found in many end-of-year charts!

Nathaniel Rateliff (who hails from Denver) has already released 2 solo albums under his own name and toured the world solo (including as support-act to Bon Iver and Wilco – who also revealed themselves to be fans).

Now it is time for a new project: The Night Sweats. A 'brass infused, upbeat soul band'. The album was produced by Richard Swift (Black Keys, The Shins) and will be released on August 21 via the renowned STAX label!'
