Futuristic soul and r&b princess returns with a new album

Two years after the release of her debut album ‘For All We Know’, Neo Jessica Joshua – better known as NAO – was ready for the next step. This summer saw the release of ‘Another Lifetime’, the first single and the ultimate foretaste of her new album ‘Saturn’. In her own words, the album concludes a tumultuous period in her life. ‘It’s not just about heartbreak, it’s a sense of rebirth. It’s soul-searching’.

The singer describes her music as ‘wonky funk’, an infectious sound that fuses funk, soul, r&b and pop. Tracks like ‘Bad Blood’ and ‘Fool To Love’ won many hearts and NAO doesn’t disappoint live either. Her visit to Rock Werchter was an unforgettable feast.
