Under the title 'Pointing the way to new music' AB and the eleven music clubs of the Club Circuit get together in the coming concert season for an exciting series. Together they've selected 10 weekends when on each occasion another club will occupy the AB, while at the very same time the AB goes on location to that visiting club. With this project AB and the Club circuit want to place some extra emphasis on their good relations.

Mugison is the musician described as being 'Iceland's Beck', who initially did it with only laptop and guitar. He's now discarded that first instrument and musically lovingly embraces the blues. With 'Mugiboogie' he delivers a dirty, swinging blues/power-pop record that is drenched in sex, drugs and alcohol and sometimes balances between Ryan Adams and Pixies. Foul enough for Queens Of The Stone Age to take Mugison on tour with them in Canada.

This tasty bill, compiled by De Zwerver, shall begin with the intriguing British duo Slow Club a.k.a. Charles & Rebecca. Folk, country and gospel from the basic ingredients for their cheerful and inspired retro sound. An EP was just recently released on the magnificent Moshi Moshi label.
