Monza presents: ATTICA! THEATERTOUR! Première! True to habit, Monza once again marches into theatres. With a rock show that begins where the Grand Tour ended. That means: powerful in body and soul, a show of two hours in which the most idiosyncratic band in the land demonstrates how excitment and unadulterated dedication can be coupled with content and atmosphere. The ATTICA! THEATRE TOUR! forms a musical island of surprising beauty, intended for an audience that wants to leave the well trodden paths for a while.

'Attica!', most recent CD from Monza - band of frontman/songwriter STIJN MEURIS - received press reviews that suggest that the band continues to search bravely for the ultimate goal of this highly electric collective: the status of artistic enclave. 'Album of the year !' was to be heard left and right, also 'This is rock that became art'.

Comparissons are doomed to fail when speaking of Monza, but for those who really want some: think not only of Radiohead but also of Talking Heads or My Morning Jacket, of prog-rock but also of cabaret. Dutch language of course, but not in the limiting sense.

Plus: providing by far the most beautiful visuals of the low lands, in a lighting decor that was once again drawn up by permanent kelvin-artist Lucas Pellens.
