MIRA surprised one and all at the end of 2007, with 'In De Fleur' going from nowhere to number 21 in the Belgian Top 100 of All Time on Radio 1. The song suddenly stood between the Belgian classics. Meanwhile the songstress was busily touring. She toured through Flanders, solo or with band, writing songs for her second album in between.

Today she'll be presenting you with that brand new CD, produced by Jean-Marie Aerts. With piano as faithful companion and two exceptional musicians. Jonas Van den Bossche and Toon Offeciers earned their stripes with the likes of the Martha!Tentatief and the Kakkewieten. They set their hands and teeth into Mira's bitter-sweet songs about life, from both the first CD 'In De Daluren' as well as the new record. Horns, bells, keyboard, strings, pots, pans: everything that can make noise is used to guarantee a unique, swinging sound. Mira's lyrics are painfully recognizable one minute, cheerfully surprising the next.
