Dreamy indie pop from Canada
Since their formation in 2014, Men I Trust has been unmissable on the international music scene. This year, the Canadian indie band aims to impress even more with the release of two albums, ‘Equus Asinus’ and ‘Equus Caballus’, and an international tour, with a stop Belgium.
Featuring Emma Proulx on guitar and vocals, Jessy Caron on guitar and bass and Dragos Chiriac on keyboards, Men I Trust creates an enchanting sound, effortlessly fusing elements of dream pop and indie. Their iconic song ‘Show Me How’ is a perfect example. Known for their hypnotic melodies and compelling vocals, the trio prove this time and again (‘Men I Trust’ in 2014, ‘Headroom’ in 2015, ‘Uncle Jazz’ in 2019, ‘Untourable’ in 2021). Producing their songs entirely themselves, they show a maturity beyond their musical career. On stage, Men I Trust provides a dynamic and exciting live experience that feels very intimate at the same time. At a time when music can no longer be pigeonholed, Men I Trust stands out with a sound that effortlessly transcends genres and elegantly shapes the indie scene.
