Megadeth return to the AB again after 13 years. The band around ex-Metallica guitarist Dave Mustaine is totally back again with the new album ‘Endgame’ and will also be part of The Big Four tour (Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth) in June. On the dates in between, Mustaine co. will be playing a number of indoor-shows, thus including the AB on Tuesday 8 June. The aforementioned ‘Endgame’ is also considered to be their best work since platinum milestone ‘Rust In Peace’ from 1990.
Megadeth, established in 1983, is one of the pioneers of the trash-metal genre (together with the previously mentioned companions in The Big Four tour). In their almost 30-year existence the band has had more than 20 official members but Mustaine (who also provides the vocals) remains the only constant factor. 25 million copies of their 12 studio albums have been sold world-wide.
Support act will be American hard-rockers Halestorm. Their untitled debut was released in 2009 by Atlantic Records and after that singer Lzzy Hale & Co. toured with bands like Shinedown, Papa Roach and Black Stone Cherry.
