Brussels duo presents new work in premiere
The Maze & Lindholm concert was originally scheduled for October 2020, but due to the corona pandemic it could not take place but we are very pleased that they will be presenting their latest album in the AB Salon this autumn.
The duo Maze & Lindholm are Pierre De Mûelenaere and Otto Lindholm, both important players in the Brussels experimental music scene and known and loved far beyond the country's borders thanks to their many collaborations and projects.Pierre is mainly known as 1/2 of Orphan Swords, whose heavy electronic industrial music has made the stages (and dance floor) of all of Europe unsafe in recent years. Besides his wonderful double bass solo work, we also know Otto Lindholm from collabs with the likes of Ben Bertrand, Throwing Snow or Jean DL.
Together, they create beautiful ethereal ambient soundscapes, immersing the listener in a 'meditative silence'.
The duo will present their album 'Carillon Sans Timbre Ni Marteau Volume 1', released on TOTALISM. The album was recorded in an old water mill in Picardy in the summer of 2020 and will be officially released on the day of their Salon concert.
