Nominated for two MIA’s thanks to ‘Leave a Light On’ .

There was no escaping it over the last few months: Marble Sounds' superb ‘Leave a Light On’. Starting out as the Music For Life hit of 2013, it quickly became a Hot Shot on StuBru and crowd-favourite in De Afrekening. Even more remarkable: the single quickly made the move onto both Radio 1 and Radio 2, where it even landed in the Top 10. There aren't many Belgian songs that have – more than rightly – scored on every station.
Sot it's no big surprise then that Marble Sounds has bagged two nominations for the MIA’s (or: Music Industry Awards). Doing so in the categories ‘Best Video’ - for the associated stirring & stylistically stunning clip – and 'Best Band'. Another sign of their popularity: even Hooverphonic recently covered ‘Leave a Light On’.
That Marble Sounds is at its best live, well, we've already been able to experience that a couple of times in the past – as witnessed by a number of dizzying AB concerts. What are you waiting for?
Support-act for Marble Sounds will be Bird On The Wire from Holland. Yup, that wink to Leonard Cohen can also be heard in their music, as well as The Velvet Underground. Without knowing it, you might even be familiar with Aino Vehmasto – the singer also to be heard on 'Leave A Light On' by (what a coincidence) Marble Sounds.
