Supergroup encompassing Sean Dhondt puts out catchy pop-rock
If Manoeuvres doesn’t ring a bell right away then frontman Sean Dhondt probably will. JIM-, TMF-, Qmusic- and VTM-star Dhondt earned his rock-’n-roll stripes and refined his songwriting abilities as former figurehead (and drummer!) of punk band Nailpin.
For his new project, he gained inspiration from genre crossing artists like Peter Gabriel, Gotye and even Steely Dan. First singles ‘My Love’ and ‘Mad World’ were recorded with the assistance of David Poltrock (Hooverphonic, Monza, De Mens), Simon Casier (Balthazar, Douglas Firs) and Geoffrey Burton (Arno, Daan, Hong Kong Dong) and allow pop, rock and a dash of soul to intermingle wonderfully.
