He has no less than 650,000 followers on Instagram and, as indie-artist, he has sold an impressive 100,000 copies of his previous album ‘Salad Days’. This Canadian singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist says owes a debt to Neil Young and John Lennon, but he considers Jonathan Richman to be his greatest influence. Pitchfork has already praised his albums three times as ‘Best new Music’ and – wait for it – he often labels his music as ‘jizz jazz’, named after his own studio.
