An exchange-desk will be opened for some sold-out concerts (recognizable on the website by the exchange-desk logo). The idea is to bring together people looking for tickets and people who have tickets left over. Do you have extra tickets or are you still looking for tickets, then don't buy or sell them on the street, come and check at the desk instead.
Lyle Lovett & John Hiatt. You read right: two of the finest names of the Americana country-rock singer-songwriter scene, out and about together. You don't need more than that. Guaranteed to be an exquisite repertoire and entertainingly presented... as is known by everyone who has already seen John Hiatt solo (eg AB, November '07) or was at that unique Lyle Lovett ABconcert in March '09.Afterwards, De Standaard reported of John Hiatt? Wait: 'I'll never get over you', 'Have a little faith in me', 'She loves the jerk', 'Riding with the king', 'She said the same things to me', 'Thing called love' (the latter may be better known in the version by Bonnie Raitt?). His latest CD is called 'Same old man' but there is also a brand new one planned for early 2010: 'The open road' (on New West). Hiatt has a healthy relationship with greats like Ry Cooder, Nick Lowe or the late legendary producer Jim Dickinson and his sons of The North Mississippi Allstars. But he is also strikingly strong solo too, just call him the archetype of the ever-persevering performer, and so now as exceptional duo with none less than Lyle Lovett!
