Douglas Firs, the indie band encompassing G. Van Hellemont, has completed its 3rd studio album: Hinges of Luck will be released on 13 October via Excelsior Recordings. The album contains 12 songs and was written during a 6 week trip to Canada & New York. It was recorded at home – with the band, that includes Simon Casier (Balthazar, Zimmerman) and Senne Guns (Admiral Freebee, Pomrad) – and mixed in Louisville, Kentucky by Kevin Ratterman (Ray Lamontagne, My Morning Jacket).

You can come hear the album in Huis23 prior to its release and together with G. Van Hellemont, who will explain to us how the album came about. The introduction will be made by Stijn Van De Voorde (StuBru).
