Slightly eccentric Norwegian electro-pop
A Liveurope concert:
The first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote emerging European music.
This Norwegian duo, that lives in LA, dove into Belgian history books and was inspired by George Lemaître for their band name, a Belgian priest/astronomer who was also the founder of the big bang theory. In their own unique way – with slightly eccentric, danceable electro-pop – Lemaitre jumped into the poppy pool that Justice, Daft Punk, Hot Chip and Basement Jaxx have been swimming around in for several years and the renowned Astralwerks (homebase to The Avalanches, Duke Dumont, Dusky & The Chemical Brothers) fished them out of it in 2014.
Their latest release, EP ‘Afterglow’, came into the world in early October ’16 and harbours a serve of dynamic and danceable pop songs with a serious twist to them.
