Short Movie, new CD, nu-folk, dark look

Our favourite blonde* British folk revelation has completed her latest CD, Short Movie. As witnessed by the first single (of the same name), it will be a compelling change of course, mainly based upon her extensive stay in the loud and all too airy L.A.

Not yet 25, has already released 5 moving CDs now, been 'on the road' for about 10 years, often alone, but fortunately also at home with that new draft of British folk-rockers à la Mumford & Sons of Noah & The Whale.

Not produced by Ethan Jones this time: 'sparkling' Laura Marling did it herself with the assistance of a few friends. After her previous solo ABvisit in 2013, she will now certainly be bringing along a band too.

* yep, on recent Facebook photos, now dark- and short-haired again but, hey, you're coming for the music anyway, aren't you!?
