3/4 of Moderat will extend the party in AB Club!
Pay attention, Party People! AB and Lotto get together, four or five times a year, to maintain the vibe of the concert in the Main Hall and party on in the AB Club afterwards. These shows bear the title Late Night Lotto Vibes. We kicked off last year, with DJ sets by Crystal Fighters (22/05) and Kele-Bloc Party (08/11), and it was one big party on both occasions, in a jam-packed AB Club.
Holders of a ticket for the Moderat concert in the Main Hall may enter free of charge, others may purchase tickets for 6 euro (5 euro + 1 euro mobility contribution). Space is limited, so those who want to be 100% sure of a spot in AB Club can best buy a ticket!
Two of the three artists behind Moderat have been dealing in IDM and other electronic tastiness for years, under the moniker Modeselektor. They rose to the surface in 2005, via the BPitch Control label of Ellen Allien (who also launched the careers of Apparat, Moderat and Paul Kalkbrenner), with the debut ‘Hello, Mom’... which was an instant electronic hit. Thom Yorke from Radiohead makes no secret of his adoration of this duo and regularly sings along on albums by our friends from Berlin, Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. Their latest work ‘Monkeytown’ already dates from three years ago but that is easily explained... The gents were busy working with Apparat, creating Moderat's masterpiece ‘II’.
Moderat is sure to set the AB Main Hall ablaze, and those flames are sure to flash over to the AB Club where Modeselektor will fuel the holy electronic fire with a big fat DJ set.
