Finally, the time has come: Laïs returns!

After a release break of more than 8 years, Laïs now puts out a new album. This tour heralds a new chapter for Jorunn and Nathalie, who now continue as a duo.

With feet planted firmly on the ground, they have rediscovered and deepened the successful chemistry of Laïs. They have one foot in the Flemish clay and the other in the world.

The two ladies are assisted on this album by their partners: Bjorn Eriksson and Tomas de Smet. So that’s how two blood brothers of the former Zita Swoon stepped into a world full of Flemish magic, exotic rhythms, and oriental sounds.

Jorunn and Nathalie promise to remain themselves, to continue to surprise, and to convert unbelievers. Both couples flew into the work with enthusiasm and created a wonderful album. This one sounds familiar and yet also surprising.

They are supported on stage by multi-instrumentalist and singer Esther Lybeert (The Antler King, ex Hooverphonic), guitarist Tom Theuns (Aurelia, ex Ambrozijn) and drummer Roel Poriau (Rumbaristas, ex Think of One). The merging of musical worlds by these top musicians and pedigree singers needs no further explanation.
