The Lady Linn & Her Magnificent Seven concert that was initially planned for Sunday 20 March has been moved to Thursday 19 May. There are very good reasons for that too. Lady Linn’s new and second album – entitled ‘No Goodbye at All’ – is to be released later than expected, namely on 29 April, though still preceded by a single at the start of March. ‘No Goodbye at All’ will be released by Universal France and is thus a big, international step forward. What's more, the album – ‘a pop album’ according to Lady Linn – was recorded in Paris under the auspices of famous producer Renaud Letang, known from his album work with the likes of Jane Birkin, Feist, Mocky and Jamie Lidell.
Lady Linn is back! Following a fine peak at the end of ’09 in AB (in a sold-out Flex) and, after her offshoot project Howie & Lynn, it is now time again for Lady Linn and her Magnificent Seven. Lady Linn is currently working hard on the successor (due for release in February 2011 and recorded in the studio of Renaud Letang, see: Feist, Manu Chao, Jamie Lidell,…) to her debut ‘'Here we go Again'. That album was a hit. Lien De Greef’s first-born has now sold around 30,000 copies, something quite unique in these times of download culture. What's more, the album has also adorned the Ultratop Album Top 50 for almost two years now (!!!) and each and every one of her singles - 'A Love Affair', 'I Don't Wanna Dance'‚ and 'Cool Down'- was a hit. So its no wonder that Lady Linn also bagged two MIA’s in '10 in the categories 'Best Pop’ and ‘Best Female Singer’. Her successful musical recipe however remains the completely natural and steamy blending of jazz, pop and soul. Lady Linn: AB and the audience are dying of curiosity for your new songs! Welcome back!
