K's Choice rocks: Private Revolution!
The year 2015 marks the return of K’s Choice with a brand new album The Phantom Cowboy (release Friday April 24th). After different career moves (solo work from Sarah, Gert’s band Woodface and a soundtrack under the name Bettens), brother and sister are coming back with a real rock album, produced by no one less than Alain Johannes, loyal partner in crime of Dave Grohl (Sound City) and musician/producer of Queens Of The Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Mark Lanegan and Live.
Together with Johannes the band from Antwerp chose to record an album that is more in line with the rawness of Paradise In Me and Cocoon Crush. No nonsense pop/rock that will effortlessly convince old and new fans.
The first single ‘Private Revolution’ was released in the beginning of 2015, was able to reach number 1 in De Afrekening on Studio Brussel and is still standing strong in the top three. A well chosen predecessor for the new album The Phantom Cowboy, on which the guitars are violently claiming the attention. After 25 years of K’s Choice, the band has opted for the ultimate formula again: songs that sound equally strong recorded as live.
