Unfortunately Klaus Schulze had to cancel one show this week. But here's a word from his office to state that he will perform and is very eager to do so in the AB this friday: “No worries. Klaus will do Paris and Brussels! Doctor was with him yesterday for over 2 hours, but everything seems to be okay for tonight and Friday. He is a fighter and is willing to do specially the sold out show in Brussels. So please tell everybody that Brussels will be on!” So please tell everybody.
Welcome in the cosmos. The world famous sonorous universe of Klaus Schulze, and at his side the otherworldly voice of Lisa Gerrard. Together they have recently released the CD-DVD 'Dziekuje Bardzo', out here via CNR. In this case we can't do better than to further quote the colleagues from the Melkweg in Amsterdam!?
'Exceptional performance by electronica-pioneer Klaus Schulze and singer Lisa Gerrard, known from Dead Can Dance. Schulze, who - together with Tangerine Dream - is considered to be the founder of the Berlin School, has delivered more than forty solo-albums as composer and musician since the early 70's and greatly influenced the development of electronic music and dance (see also: Ash Ra Temple)'.
The first part of the performance will consist of a solo-performance by Schulze and the second part will be a combined performance by Schulze and Gerrard, who previously collaborated on the album 'Farscape' in 2008. Together, Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry formed the nucleus of the eclectic group Dead Can Dance. Since '89 she's been working on various film projects and as of '95 she has released a number of solo albums.
You can already see them fly.
