The electrosynthpop man with the monkey face…
Anderlecht born Kid Noize and previous member of the band Joshua – is not really known in Flanders, even though the electro-synthpop of Kid Noize has already ended up as support-act for the likes of Stromae, Faithless, Die Antwoord and The Prodigy. Earlier this year he was the only DJ nominated in the ‘Live’ category by the ‘D6bels Music Awards’ (the Walloon equivalent of Flanders’ Mia’s).
His singles ‘Brooklyn’, ‘Summer Legend’ and the brand new ‘Ocean’ are much appreciated in Wallonia. Later this year his debut ‘Dream Culture’ will be released and he now presents it live for the first time, flanked by artists from his very own Black Gizah label.
Oh, yes: just like deadmau5 or SBTRKT, Kid Noize wears a mask. Not of a mouse (see: deadmau5), but rather a monkey.
