Kensingbomb! The immense explosion that Utrecht pop/rock sensation Kensington brought about in The Netherlands – they blew the roof off the Heineken Music Hall on 20/02 and they follow that up with two (!) sold out Ziggo Dome concerts (Amsterdam's equivalent of the Sportpaleis ) in November – can be clearly felt as far as Brussels. After two AB Club concerts that were filled to the rafters (15/02), the four from Kensington take a leap of faith into the Main Hall and there's not a hair on our head that doubts that it will again be a stampede for tickets.
Previous album ‘Vultures’ was hailed by music mag OOR as ‘De beste Nederlandse plaat van het jaar’, they won the 3FM Award for ‘Beste Live Act’ and they hit platinum with their latest and third longplayer ‘Rivals’, plus managed to score the Edison (Dutch MIA’s) for Best Rock Band.
