After a 3-year absence, we welcome back our favourite Captain back to AB!
This performance is suitable for children of 3 years and older and is spoken in Dutch. To avoid problems at the entrance of AB, we would like to point out that every child needs a paying ticket to get access to the performance. We would like to refer to our house rules for this, which state that every child (including those under 12) must have a ticket for a seated performance in the AB Theater. Babies up to 1 year old, can sit on their parents lap for free.
For more than 15 years now, nature and the environment have never been far removed in Kapitein Winokio‘s songs and theatre shows. Now the Kapitein fully embraces our vulnerable planet. This resulted – last summer and this autumn – in a show entitled ‘#HalloAarde’. Directed by Warre Borgmans, Kapitein Winokio and his crew head out into space. From his spaceship, he studies the challenges and sings about the gigantic beauty of our blue planet.
And the Berenshows in AB wouldn’t be the Berenshows if the Kapitein didn’t bring along guests. On his spaceship, he this year welcomes star actor Wim Opbrouck, and musical globetrotter David 9 ½ Bovée (Think of One, Nine And A Half …), Esohe Weyden & Liesbeth Devos.
