He provided the arrangements on the (now already) classic ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ by our favourite rapper Kendrick Lamar and has previously worked with Snoop Dogg, Nas and Flying Lotus. After several self-released albums, this talented tenor saxophonist (think: John Coltane, Pharoah Sanders) gave pretty much everyone a musical upper-cut with his triple album ‘The Epic’ that appeared on the Brainfeeder label of his mate FlyLo.
