Now that they have a seventh album coming out – the release of which is planned for September this year – John Butler Trio + today announced, to our great pleasure, their return to the old continent. 

Their energetic and hearty live shows, in combination with an inimitable musical talent, have made the band one of Australia’s most relevant artists for years now. Ben Harper, Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson and Michael Franti have been sparring partners for the trio that brings us a unique mix of blues, reggae and country, topped off by a portion of folk, funk, rock and hip-hop.

Seeing as the band now consists of five members, 2018 will be a special year. After a well-received Australian tour, ‘John Butler Trio +’ will no doubt be able to entertain their European audience too with a show that is more dynamic and impressive than ever before. The addition of keyboard and percussion supports their new work, but also provides an extra aspect to their biggest classics like “Betterman”, “Zebra” or “What You Want” is not to be underestimated.
