Legendary is his tour through the underbelly of the southern US in the BBC documentary ‘Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus', about musicians who were inspired by the culture of The South. He is a born 'storyteller', whereby stories and songs merge seamlessly. His songs inhabit an entirely own universe in which exotic and typical country instruments, such as the banjo, undertake a hallucinating musical journey.

This summer, Jim will be hanging out in Belgium to make an alt-country-postpunk album with double bass player Nicolas Rombouts (ex-Dez Mona, Stef Kamil Carlens). Guitarist Geert Hellings (Guido Belcanto) will play on this album too. In AB Salon, you can expect a warm evening of old and new material by this master narrator.
