South-African singer-songwriter with loop-pedal and echoes
Following on from that crowded ABClub in February, back in the Box after the summer! For those who weren’t there, we remind you with the text below!
'Jeremy Loops is a South-African musician from Kommetjie, Cape Town. He makes music by feeding loops, echo and distortion through instrumental samples.'
Did you notice? Jeremy Loops certainly received the right surname. His songs are as catchy as a cheetah, but he makes avid use of the latest tricks and techniques. So he can do it both solo, in the wake of eg Ed Sheeran, or with band, à la Mumford & Sons (with rapper Motheo Moleko on occasion, for the extra hip-hop note.)
His debut 'Trading Change' has now reached Belgium, first single is to be 'Down South' and touring with Twenty One Pilots is now a part of it all.
Also stuff for (non-surfing) fans of Jack Johnson or Ben Howard or Newton Faulkner anyway...
