Charismatic alternative rock

Not to be missed!
Great bands break the rules, but legends write their own. Jane's Addiction laid the foundations for alternative rock culture by combining the classic tricks of the genre with an almost cinematic stage experience. Driven by the visionary talent of frontman Perry Farrell, Jane's Addiction has always been admired. Since their formation in 1985, the band managed to keep the enigmatic veil around the ultra-charismatic personalities of the four band members. After a self-titled legendary live album, released in 1987, and two studio albums, 'Nothing Shocking' (1988) and 'Ritual De Lo Habitual' (1990), the band imploded and broke up on a farewell tour under the name 'Lollapalooza', which gave its name to the alternative rock festival we all know today. Since then, these holy monsters of the international rock scene reunited from time to time, whenever they felt like it. The result is two more studio albums, 'Strays' and 'The Great Escape Artist', and a string of live shows, each more impressive than the next.Jane's Addiction have created a sound the world has never heard before, both powerful and sensitive, with blistering riffs and piercing lyrics. You won't want to miss that on 4 June at Ancienne Belgique.
