Folky fingerpicking guitar by Brit living in Chicago
Chicago-resident Englishman James Elkington released his solo debut ‘Wintres Woma’ in mid-2017, at the age of 46. The album is recorded in Wilco’s The Loft and is a fine piece of fingerpicking guitar in which Elkington proves to be an impressive songwriter, guitarist and singer. He has worked in the past with the likes of Jeff Tweedy, Richard Thompson, Steve Gunn, Michael Chapman, Joan Shelley and Nathan Salsburg.
