Intergalactic Lovers' Belgian sabbatical is definitely over and done with. Over the past year, the band has been secretly working on their long-awaited second album. For the successor to ‘Greetings & Salutations’, the band headed to Tuscany to record an ambitious second album with producer Thomas Harsem.
The band has evolved, but the recipe remains recognizable: catchy melodies, vigorous vibe and the stunning voice of Lara Chedraoui. The foursome have succeeded in setting the bar higher and delivering an album that sounds more personal and steeped in melancholy.
In between recording, Intergalactic Lovers continued to work on an international tale. Aside from the release of ‘Greetings & Salutations’ and various tours in Germany, they also played in the likes of New York, Toronto and at the SXSW festival in Texas.
It'll be fantastic to see Intergalactic Lovers again in 2014. Two years after they sold out the Main Hall of the AB, they now present to you their second album.
