sadly enough this session is fully booked
What do you do when there's a legendary bass-player in the country? Invite him in for a good chat of course!
Marcus Miller is not just any bass-player. You're sure to recognise him as bassist for Miles Davis (Tutu!), Aretha Franklin, Boz Scaggs, Me’shell NdegéOcello, Scritti Politti, George Benson, Joan Armatrading and many other stunning sessions. There are already more than 600 productions mentioned on his website, with his own - now 50 or so - CDs neatly alphabetised between all that other great talent.
Now Marcus Miller is back in the country again to play top-shelf, finely streamlined, strongly muscled, sharply played and funky rock-jazz-fusion in the AB. A legendary bassist with tons of experience and nose for young talent, just the thing for a chat on the sofa of Huis23. About the art of playing bass, his legendary track-record as musician (and the many obstacles encountered inbetween), the role of the bassist / bandleader / ... What's more, the man is a tank full of tales, that will no doubt arise in the course of the conversation. There is also time for all your questions afterwards.
Registration isn't possible anymore.
