fuzzy garage-rock from Madrid!
A Liveurope concert:
The first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote emerging European music.
Girlband Hinds, from Madrid, brings us fuzzy garage-pop doused in the sunny vibes and warmth of their homeland. Carlotta Cosials and Ana Perrote began as a duo under the name ‘Deers’, which became ‘Hinds’ after a band of the same name took legal action. They write songs about love, partying and the problems that result from combining the two. After the release of their first single ‘DEMO’, in 2014, the band was completed by bassist Ade Martin and drummer Amber Grimbergen.
The four released debut album ‘Leave Me Alone’ two years ago. As the title suggests, they entertain with a big ‘je m’en fous’ factor and messy lo-fi garage-rock, that is best done justice at one of their live shows.
