Timeless virtuoso van Veen with your requests in 4 languages
Herman van Veen is completely unique in his genre. No Dutch artist is so celebrated in international theatres as this wizard from Utrecht.
Herman van Veen plays violin, sings, composes, writes, acts, directs, paints and is the originator of the world famous comic strip figure duck Alfred Jodocus Kwak.
L’Olympia, Carré, Friedrichstadtpalast, Carnegie Hall, he sings his repertoire in four languages and with apparent ease.
The AB will receive this pro two days in a row, with a unique programme that you will put together yourself.
That's right, based upon your requests (in Dutch, French, English or German, it makes no difference, we're in Brussels after all) Herman van Veen will play two unique shows in the AB on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 May.
A requests show, really, compiled by you!
Which Herman van Veen song would you like to hear again? What story do you always recall? Which moment gave you goosebumps or still gives you a giggle?
Was it ‘Anne’, ‘Zo vrolijk’, ‘Hilversum III’, ‘Liefde van later’, ‘A certain tenderness’, ‘Autrement’ or - who knows - ‘Deine Küsse sin sußer’?
How do you go about it?
That's simple: create an AB profile for yourself on the ABsite, note your requests in the reaction box at the bottom of the concert page and you're done.
Or if you prefer to send an email, then direct it to: hermanvanveen@abconcerts.be.
Who knows, you might meet your favourite Herman-moment again on stage!
Herman van Veen will be accompanied during this programme by his regular musicians
