Back From The Dead-tour
Halestorm is coming to AB, together with Black Veil Brides on their āBack From The Dead-tourā. Halestorm was founded by the brother-sister team Lzzy and Arejay Hale when they were 13 and 10 years old, respectively. Based in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, the siblingsā dad assumed bass duties in the early years. Their second album āThe Strange case of...ā (2012) included the Grammy Award-winning track āLove Bites (So Do I)ā. The bandās third album āInto the Wild Lifeā epitomises what Halestorm is about. Itās a collection of honest rock songs with a feel that hearkens back to the 1980s, an era when Autotune was still a distant nightmare. The line-up has been stable since 2003, with Joe Hottinger and Josh Smith in addition to the Hale tandem, and this certainly hasnāt hurt the consistency of their output. On āInto the Wild Lifeā (2015) they set a high standard for themselves with four mainstream rock hits. āViciousā (2018) helped Halestorm force a definitive breakthrough in Europe. Lzzy has described their most recent outing āBack from the Deadā (2022) as āa journey of navigating mental health, debauchery, survival, redemption, discovery, and still maintaining faith in humanityā but above all it is the best collection of songs theyāve put out yet.
