Alex Callier, well-known leader of Hooverphonic, had quite a bit of time on his hands the last few months. So, during his search for a respectable replacement for Geike Arnaert (who recently announced her departure), he opened up his box of electro-pop songs. He worked on 10 of them until they neared perfection, the same work-ethic he also uses for Hooverphonic. Under the nom de plume Hairglow, those ten songs will be released later this year in the form of an album, from which the frisky forerunner is single ‘Let It Go’. To be situated musically between greats like Pet Shop Boys and New Order.
