Ultimate explosive electro-rock from local soil!
Wonderfully explosive. That's the least you can say of Goose's infectious electro-rock . In ’11 they easily sold out two consecutive days in AB, at the time of their album ‘Synrise’ (that heavily flirts with Tangerine Dream, Giorgio Moroder and Underworld). That work was awarded a golden album and shows at Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and I Love Techno.
Their long awaited third album ‘Control Control Control’ will be out at the end of this year. They say that the guitars were assigned a prominent role on it. Not by accident either, as it was produced by Paul Stacey (who we know from the likes of Oasis, Noel Gallagher and The Black Crowes). Ready for a more than explosive party? We're already polishing the dancefloor!
Goose opted for the Taiwanese electro-pop of Go Chic as opener for this three-dayer. Go Chic describe their music as ‘Electro-Hyphy-Chicks, Hybridized Punk-Blues-Rock’. They are riveting, like Peaches, CSS and Le Tigre. Even cooler was the description we found on their very own MySpace page (that's right: MySpace isn't dead!). Influences: ‘chix n dix’. Sounds like: ‘3 chix and 1 dick!’. We were fans of this all female band right away.
