CD launch for a Tuareg/blues-roots/power-rock trio
Call it 'desert blues' again, if you must, but know that Kel Assouf has now developed into a true power-trio: guitarist and singer Anana Harouna, keyboard player Sofyann Ben Youssef (see too: Bargou 08 & AMMAR 808) plus drummer Olivier Penu. In their stormy sound you can hear a fiery mix of heavy rock, African trance and Tuareg influences: so look out for the new CD in the first part of 2019.
