Sometimes the circle really is complete. The 'piano & percussion' project of Puerto Rican Belgian Gabriel Rios, jazz virtuoso Jef Neve and percussion wonder Kobe Proesmans came into being a number of years ago in the AB, during the presentation of the Zamu Awards. Several years later the final destination of this project is the AB once again. The final? Indeed: the last performance of this extremely successful project, which will disappear in to the closet due to the busy occupations of the members involved. Focal point is still the songs of Rios & Neve (supplemented by a sublime version of the Jimi Hendrix classic 'Voodoo Chile' even) that are completely stripped and played in their essential form. Intimate and intimistic! Be there on time (because the shows in, say the Openluchttheater Rivierenhof in Antwerp, are completely sold out!)!
