Lemmy has headed to the happy hunting grounds, Ozzy no longer rocks without a rollator, James Hetfield is sober, Alice Cooper has a golf addiction and Bruce Dickinson spends more time in the cockpit of an airplane than on stage… it’s pretty thin pickings in the realm of the metal gods… But who do we see hither, yonder on the horizon, with metal balls as big as coconuts (including all the hair, because trimming is for johnnys, or hipsters - as they are currently known)? It’s Fleddy Melculy by god!

Gargantuan old school hardcore/metal with hilarious Dutch-language lyrics in which founder Jeroen Camerlynck (De Fanfaar) dissects everyday situations like ‘Ik Ben Mijn Sleutels Kwijt’, ‘Brood’, ‘T-Shirt Van Metallica’ and the instant classic ‘Ik Haat Jazz’ – “Da zijn niet eens liedjes maar gewoon gezeik” right down to the bone and sings about them (well, screams actually). Fleddy pressed all that deliciousness onto a first EP ‘Wat De Fok’ and it has been shining in all its glory atop the metal- & rock-albums chart on iTunes since its launch in mid-February ’16.

If Fleddy comes at you, then Fleddy comes hard. And if Fleddy rocks then he rocks you all to smithereens. World domination, no less, but Fleddy (who gained extra-terrestrial metal-powers after a confrontation with the ghost of Dimebag Darrell) will start with Flanders, namely in our mosh- and pogo-proofed AB Club!
