Germans Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier – aka the legendary duo Booka Shade – have been hanging out in the upper echelons of the house world for more than ten years now. Not only do they head around the world with mad DJ and live-sets, they are also – together with M.A.N.D.Y., Peter Hayo & DJ T – founding fathers of the prominent Get Physical label (see: Trentemoller, Modeselektor, Damian Lazarus, etc.).

The veterans of Frankfurt’s electronica scene have forged wild plans for 2017: a gigantic tour of countless countries and a new album. The latter, entitled ‘Galvany Street’, will be released on April 7 and contains 10 brilliant house tracks, that are to serve as successors to classics like ‘Night Falls’, ‘Body Language’ and ‘Mandarine Girl’.

Resident Advisor already hailed them as the ultimate live act a few years ago, their remixes serve as points of reference for the entire scene, and every set reveals itself to be a memorable moment. More than enough reasons to already keenly look forward to what is sure to become a highlight in the history of Lotto Late Night!

LOTTO LATE NIGHT
When LOTTO, POPPUNT and AB get together then you know what time it is… PARTY TIME! Under the title LOTTO LATE NIGHT, we regularly loosen our legs to a portion of local & international DJ power. During previous editions, the AB Club was skillfully turned upside down by the likes of Modeselektor, The Subs, Kele (Bloc Party), Charlotte De Witte (Raving George), Magnus, Etienne de Crécy and Tiga. We’re certainly planning to seriously expand upon this fine list!

For all those who would prefer to man (or woman) the decks themselves: we are looking for local DJ talent to get the night going at all the upcoming LLN parties, via the online Poppunt platform Vi.be.
