The Gelukkig Zijn Sessions are there for you to learn Dutch in Brussels, while singing even! Via all sorts of Dutch-language songs, you will not only learn the language in an enjoyable way, but also become familiar with Belgian culture and meet new people.

True to tradition, we will be assigning each session a theme. As a follow-up to February’s singing session, where we sang songs that were written by women, this session will be an ode to the female. What’s more, March 8 is International Women’s Day and so we sing songs that are dedicated to women.

You don’t have to be a great singer. Enjoyment and enthusiasm are the most important motives for participating. We provide a pianist, a singer to lead, the lyrics, and something to drink.

The sessions take place monthly and are free of charge, as long as you reserve your spot.
