Freddie Gibbs is one of the most influential voices to emerge on the recent hip-hop scene with his concise wordplay, his range of styles and, above all, raw emotion. This rapper from Indiana began his career in 2004 and has since built up a solid fan base across the globe. Fans who he never keeps waiting, as in recent years Freddie has released more than 20 mix tapes, 8 EPs and 8 albums. For Gibbs, however, quantity never means cutting corners on quality. ‘Bandana’ from 2019 made the year-end lists of Vulture, Vibe, UPROXX, Stereogum, Noisey, SPIN and Complex Magazine. His recent disc ‘Alfredo’ (with The Alchemist) was nominated for a Grammy in the category ‘Best Rap Album’.
