Intoxicating electropop
Compact Disk Dummies are back! The Coorevits brothers bring us great news today with the release of a new disco-sounding single, "There's No Sex Without You", and the announcement of their return to the big stage.
In 2012, Lennert and Janus Coorevits broke through by winning Humo's Rock Rally. The following year, Compact Disk Dummies released their first EP, featuring hit single "The Reeling". The single was played by radio stations across Europe and spent six weeks in a row in the Ultratop 50. Playing at some of the biggest festivals in Belgium (Dour, Lokerse Feesten, Pukkelpop) and Europe (Sziget, Les Transmusicales), the duo released their debut album 'Silver Souls' in 2016, featuring dancefloor tracks like "Holy Love" and "Girls Keep Drinking". Three years later, the Dummies return with their 'Satellites' EP, collaborating with dEUS frontman Tom Barman on the title-track. Live, they prove that you shouldn't underestimate them. Their previous passages at AB and legendary show at Pukkelpop in 2019, bear witness to that statement. In April 2020, they released their second album 'Neon Fever Dream', carried by the heady "I Remember". Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic prevented them from performing this album live as they saw fit. 2023 sees the return of Compact Disk Dummies to the live stage, and the arrival of new compositions including the brand new single "There's No Sex Without You". Following their highly anticipated performance at Rock Werchter this summer, Compact Disk Dummies will enchant AB with their intoxicating electropop. Don't miss this concert!
