The work of Swedish composer and sound-artist BJ Nilsen, who operates from out of Amsterdam, is mainly concentrated on nature sounds and how these influence man. In his recent work, the artist focuses on the urban and industrial areas in the arctic regions of Norway and Russia.

In AB Salon, he will present his latest work - concentrating on recordings around mining sites. For this, Nilsen made recordings in places like Kirkenes (NO), Moermansk (RU), Most (CZ), Heerlen, Rotterdam & Amsterdam (NL).
