Due to COVID-19, the AN PIERLÉ concert is going to be an 'ABnormal concert'.

ATTENTION: This concert will take place on 2 different days. You will have to download your ticket again to know the exact date. 

During these concerts, wearing a mask is mandatory and only bubbles of 1 and 2 people can be seated.What if you want to come with 3 people? You buy I duo bubble and 1 solo bubble. One of your friends will be sitting alone on the balcony. Same goes for all odd numbers.

Tickets stay valid . If this date doesn't work for you, tickets will be refunded. Please ask for a refund before September 18th, 2020 by replying to your confirmation email to info@abconcerts.be. 
We would like to inform you that you can also ask for a refund in the form of an AB concert voucher. This voucher is valid for 1,5 years. We would like nothing more than to see you at AB again.

In 2007, AB launched a timeless series: ◄◄ REWIND. Central to this series are Belgian artists who perform ‘their classic’. Call it a milestone in their career, or more so: a key album in Belgian pop music. It is often – but not always – about albums that are etched into collective memory. Call them points of reference in the Belgian music landscape. So, in other words, each ‘pièce de résistance’ is performed in its entirety. Completely? That’s right, in the exact order that the artist wanted (or still wants) to tell his/her tale.

With ◄◄ REWIND, AB also contributes to the activation of Belgian musical heritage. An Pierlé  plays ‘Mud Stories’ (1999)

In 1996, An Pierlé made a noteworthy appearance during Humo's Rock Rally with her pure version of ‘Are 'Friends' Electric?’  by Gary Numan's band Tubeway Army. That immediately catapulted her into the final of The Mother of All Rock Competitions. And, just like finalists Arid and Novastar, she took all the time she needed to allow her debut to fully ripen. So ‘Mud Stories’ appeared three years later, and right away on major Warner.

De Morgen was full of praise for her debut: "Een even sober als voldragen werkstuk, waarop alles in het teken staat van haar stem en percussieve pianospel. Niets belet de songs dus voor zichzelf te spreken. Nu eens klinken ze jachtig, energiek en losgeslagen, dan weer mijmerend en ingetogen. Een kleurig sprookjesboek met een donker randje".

With 16,000 copies sold, the album was an unexpected success – one that gave her a passe-partout for a much sought-after spot on stage at Rock Werchter in 2000.
