Mathieu Serruys debuted in 2014 with ‘on Germaine Dulac’, a record characterised by cinematic, panoramic tape loops and eroded synth lines. Five years later, his musical journey resulted in ‘Skin/Glove’, the long-awaited follow-up released on B.A.A.D.M., the label that Serruys runs together with the graphic designer Joris Verdoodt.
‘Skin/Glove’ continues to build on the physical intensity, grainy tape textures and emotional melodies of his debut, forming a mature concept album that intensely evokes both his musical and personal quest for self-realisation.
His AB Salon concert on 15 June 2019 was released on cassette and is now a collector's item. Serruys is currently working on new material which he will perform live in the AB Club.
