Empyr strikes back! A sound as solid as steel, an impeccable balance between pop and rock, a searing stage presence. Empyr, that is still the French supergroup containing Benoit Poher, Frédéric Duquesne, Benoit Julliard, Florian Dubos and Jocelyn Moze. Names that could previously be found in the biographies of French acts like Kyo, Watcha, Pleymo and Vegastar. ‘Unicorn’ is the title of the second album that is to be released in mid November by Jive Epic/Sony. A collection of songs that catch your breath right from the start. The band is now completely prepared for an international career – as is apparent from the fact that American broadcaster CBS chose their new single for the trailer of the seventh season of CSI New York.
Elvis Black Stars immediately won hearts with its pop and rock ‘n’ roll with British accents. Live, the band is a match for the best of them and a first EP was recorded after a successful visit to the Verdur Rock festival in Namen. Now they've recorded a new single with Tony Deblock (Hooverphonic, Janez Detd), are getting ready for a new tour, and all that while putting the finishing touches on their album.
Kupid Kids already had 1 EP and a number of singles to its name (that were doing pretty well on the radio) when their first album was released in 2010: ‘Love and Roll Orchestra’. They've presented their scorching pop-rock as support act to the likes of Puggy and Superbus.
