Presents new work after residency in AB Salon
Aside from her solo experimentation with electro-acoustic music, with the violin as her principle instrument, Elisabeth Klinck has already collaborated with several other artists. We have seen her in the Praed Orchestra and in an ensemble with Maurice Louca (Summer Bummer festival), in duo with Nils Vermeulen, she’s worked together with Sarah Davachi, Ben Bertrand and Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe and she also plays in the acclaimed theatre piece ‘One Song’ by Miet Warlop.
In April 2023, she will release her solo debut album on the Hallow Ground label (known from the likes of Kali Malone and FujiIIIIIIIIta). The album was created and recorded in an abandoned village in the Spanish Pyrenees with musical partner Oscar Claus. The surroundings inspired hushed, collage-like compositions in which time and space roam freely.
After a 3 day residence in the AB Salon, Klinck will perform the result of these 3 days live to an audience.
